MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT FATALITY – LAWYERS MN
A 43-year-old motorcyclist from Hastings died after being thrown from his bike. This happened Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn Center when he tried to avoid a collision on Interstate 694. According to a Minnesota State Patrol incident report, the motorcycle was traveling west on the interstate at the split for Highway 100. A car suddenly cut across traffic from the right lane of the interstate to the right lane of the highway.
The maneuver forced a series of vehicles, including a semi-truck, to move into the left lanes to avoid a collision. While attempting to avoid a crash, the motorcyclist lost control of his bike and was thrown from it. The State Patrol reported he died as a result of the motorcycle accident.
Unfortunately, there are many drivers on the road who are distracted, or just don’t look out for a motorcycle. The motorcycle may do nothing wrong at all, but the car can pull out in front or make a quick lane change.
