Car Accident With Motorcycle MN Injury Lawyers

Two motorcyclists were killed Saturday in a collision with a car in central Minnesota. In addition, two other riders were seriously injured.

The crash happened on Hwy. 23 in Roseville Township, near Paynesville. A westbound Chevy Monte Carlo tried to turn left onto 160th Street NE. But the Chevy, driven by a 21-year-old woman from Bricelyn, turned directly into the path of an oncoming group of Harley Davidsons. Most likely, the driver of the car was distracted and did not see the motorcycles coming. That seems to be the cause of most of these accidents. The driver may have been texting or using her GPS. Whatever the reason, distracted driving is always dangerous.

Unfortunately, in this case, two of the motorcycles struck the Chevy and both riders were killed. In addition, a third motorcycle laid down in the road to avoid a collision. However, the crash seriously injured the driver and passenger on that bike. The identities of the victims haven’t yet been released. However, the Minnesota State Patrol says they are a 42-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman from St. Cloud. A 61-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were on the third bike. They were both from Sauk Rapids. One of the two motorcycle riders was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital. Fortunately, he is expected to survive. However, his injuries are extensive.
