The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a three-vehicle accident on County Road 82, near East Lake Victoria Road SE. Deputies learned a dump truck was traveling westbound on Co Rd 82, about a mile east of Alexandria. Deputies say the dump truck blew a tire causing it to cross over into the eastbound lane. Unfortunately, the dump truck then struck a Chevy truck and a Jeep. The dump truck driver and Chevy driver were not injured. However, the Jeep driver was pronounced deceased on scene.
